"Happy Halloween. We got you a present," Velvette said, and Val dumped a bound and gagged Radio Demon on the bedroom floor between them.

"Vel, Val— what the fuck?" Vox said.

"You're welcome, papi."

"Uh, thank you," Vox said. That wasn't the right order, was it? It was just a lot to stay on top of.

"And you didn't even get us anything," Val said.

"Since when are Halloween presents a thing?" Vox asked.

"Since they fall into our laps. But if you don't want him, fine, I'll just take him back then," Val said lightly.

"NO!" Vox said, with far too much desperation in his voice for his liking. "No. I'll… I'll make it up to you for Christmas, how about that?"

"Oh, you're gonna make it up to us now. We're doing my Halloween collection, with all the advertising I asked for," Velvette said firmly. "Unless you want us to send him back. Which you… clearly don't," she said derisively.

"And what do you want, Val?"

"I want you to get this out of your system," Val said matter of factly. "We found him just ripe for the taking, staff broken and fucked up from the angels, and we are not letting this opportunity for you to fuck and shut the fuck up about this," Val said. "And I want to see what the fuss is all about," he said with a slimy smile.

"It's a present to share," Velvette said.

"Do you people understand how presents work?" Vox asked.

"Perfectly. We also understand how you work, so… this is for you way more than it's for us," she said, nudging Alastor with the toe of her boot.

"I also want Angel for Christmas," Val said.

Vox sighed. Of fucking course he did.

But, well, he'd get to have Alastor now.

"So, did you give him love potion already?" Vox asked.

"No. You always like it when you two pick a fight, no?" Val teased.

"Mm," Vox hummed and looked Alastor over, prodding him himself with his shoe.

Alastor glared daggers at him.

"Also, if you want to put your hands anywhere near that bear trap of a mouth, that's your prerogative," Val said.

"No. Keep him with it," Vox said. "I want… I want to spend some time alone with my present."

"We go first," Val said.

Velvette hummed an "Mhm!" in support.

"You have your emotional… whatever the fuck after," Val said. "Don't want you all fucking weepy or whatever when we should be having fun. You want to waste your time feeling sad about a present, you do it after we've had our fun."

"Fine," Vox said. He looked between Val and Velvette. He never had figured out whether Alastor liked men, women, or both; or was so fucked in the head the answer was "none of the above."

It didn't fucking matter. He was going to unwrap his present now.

"I could have made this so good for you," Vox said as he stroked Alastor's hair after the other Vees had left once they were bored and happy enough with the orgasms they'd had. "I can still give you a love potion, you know, if you want."

Alastor didn't move, didn't shake his head, didn't look at Vox.

"It could take the edge of for you, you know? But you have to promise not to bite."

Alastor still didn't react.

"Or I could make it hurt," Vox said.

And there was the reaction Vox wanted, Vox needed— the wince. It was small, it was silent, but it was there.

"Come on. Let me take the gag off. Tell me how you want to do this before we send you back to that fucking hotel you're apparently willing to nearly die for."

His fingers skated closer to Alastor's mouth. Alastor, of course, couldn't bite.

"We can do this however you want to, if you talk to me. How about that, hmm?"

Alastor froze. He already wasn't moving, but Vox felt it. He froze.

"Or I can just do this without your input." Vox reached down the length of Alastor's body, and Alastor shook his head violently.

"That's right, baby. You wanna tell me how to make you feel good," Vox said, catching Alastor's chin in his other hand, knowing his eye was pulsing.

After all the fight left Alastor's body again, Vox pulled the gag out of Alastor's mouth and said "Talk to me."

"I hate you," Alastor spat out as soon as the gag was out of his mouth.

Vox let go and let it pop back into his mouth. "Fine. Have it your way. Or don't."

Vox reached down between Alastor's legs and took hold.

"I did love you, you know?" Vox said, and snapped "Look at me," when Alastor tried to look away. "I did love you. I loved you, Alastor."

There was a moment where the only sound was what Vox was doing between Alastor's legs and a keening whimper from Alastor, a sob that couldn't break free from his mouth.

"I still do, you know. I think I'll always love you. Isn't immortality grand?"

Alastor didn't say anything, and Vox let himself ramble.

"I did think of just walking into the street on Extermination Day, after you… after you decided you'd rather stay stuck in the past than join me in being the future of Hell."

He looked at Alastor's face. His eyes looked almost lifeless, like Alastor may as well not have been here.

It pissed him off.

"But look at you now, huh? The big bad Radio Demon, in the palm of my hand," he said with a particularly harsh tug.

It earned him another wince.

"You could have lived here in the tower with me, and we could have… it could have been so perfect, Alastor, you know that? I'd… I wish you'd at least given it a chance."

Alastor came in Vox's hand, and a strangled sound left Alastor's throat with it.

A tentacle shot out and hit Vox in the chest.

"Little late for that, 'old pal'," Vox said. "A for effort though, I suppose. You really wriggled, huh?," he said in reference to their ménage à quatre with the other Vees. "It's alright; I wanted a live one." He muttered "Val was right about that," more to himself than Alastor.

He bent Alastor over, and a mass of tentacles writhed on his back before melting away about as abruptly as they came.

"Tired, huh? That's OK, you don't need to do a thing," Vox said. "Just lie back and think of radio, or whatever the fuck it is you do," Vox said. "Cannibalism. Whatever."

When he was finished, Alastor's face was streaked with tears.

Vox had done that. Vox did something that mattered to him.

He'd take it.

Vox left the room and barked to his fellow Vees on their phones in the living room "Get him a car and get him the fuck out of here."

Val gave him a lazy smile. "Good present, baby?"

"Good present. I'm done now."

"Fantastic. So glad we're all collectively done with that," Velvette said with faux-warmth. She nodded to Val. "Val, get one of yours to drop him off."

"Fine." Val started tapping away at his phone and said "You owe me" to Vox.

"I know. Have your whore for Christmas. Do whatever the fuck you want."

"I will."

"I know," Vox said.

"Anyway. We're watching a movie once he's out, and you're making popcorn," Velvette said.

"OK." He'd start his "thank you"s now, then.

With Velvette curled under one arm and Val under the other, he could almost make himself feel like it was enough.

Almost.
